The Sadie Street Singers from Anamosa High School shone brightly at the Red Carpet Gala show choir invitational last Saturday, March 7, 2026, hosted by West Delaware High School in Manchester, Iowa.
The group, classified in the 3A division, advanced to the evening finals showcase after a strong daytime performance at Hanson Auditorium. They delivered an energetic and polished routine that earned them 1st place in the 3A division.
In the overall finals standings, where groups from various classifications (including larger 4A schools) competed head-to-head, the Sadie Street Singers secured an impressive 4th place overall. This high placement among a competitive field underscores their vocal strength, sharp choreography, and captivating stage presence.
The event featured multiple schools, with finals including standout performances from groups like Dubuque Wahlert's Impulse (which took 2nd overall) and Davenport West's West Connection. Advancing to finals and podium finishes in both division and grand awards highlight the hard work put in by the singers, under the direction of Andrew Eley and choreography by Damon Brown.
